The Midwest Organic and Sustainable Education
Service (MOSES,) is a 501(c)3 education-outreach
organization working to promote sustainable and
organic agriculture. Each year MOSES hosts the
MREA Energy Fair
transforms rural Central Wisconsin into the global
hot spot for renewable energy education. The Energy
Fair brings over 20,000 people from nearly every
state in the U.S. and several countries around the
world. MOSES also hosts the 'MOSES Organic Farming

In 2007, after reading Michael Pollan's book The
Omnivore's Dilemma, we chose to stop supporting the
USDA's Organic Certification Program. We continue
to use traditional organic growing methods as
described in the USDA Standards and by J.I. Rodale,
the founder of Organic Gardening Magazine.
