Dr. Alec Burton - The Arcadia Health Centre & The Australian College of Hygiene. The Arcadia Health Centre, is the first and only clinic practicing Natural Hygiene in Australia which is conducted by licensed and certified members of the International Association of Hygienic Physicians (established in 1961). Procedures include, fasting, diet, activity, rest, environment, psychological and emotional influences. The Australian College of Hygiene was established in 1972 for the purpose of training professional hygienists. Until now, the Australian College of Hygiene has been a graduate institution, that is, students have been registered doctors in either medicine, osteopathy, chiropractic, that is; they held a registerable qualification. However, it has become apparent that there is a great need for hygienic teachers who are adequately educated to present the principles and practices of hygiene through lectures, discussions, courses and public speaking engagements in clubs, societies and groups. To fulfill this need the correspondence course has been developed.

The Clohesy River Health Farm - P.O. Box 901 , Cairns, Queensland 4870 , Australia. The 100 Hectare (300 acre) farm was established in 1971 by Dr John Fielder. It lies in a peaceful valley with a natural bush setting on the banks of the Clohesy River. The farm, which is the campus for the Academy of Natural Living, is located 45km (35 miles) from Cairns, approximately a one-hour drive, and 16km (12 miles) from the nearest township of Kuranda. The farm is a healing sanctuary, and is the perfect place to come for rest, relaxation, recuperation, and/or rejuvenation. If you are truly interested in improving your health and are seeking to avoid or regress degenerative disease problems, you will find that Nature Cure as practised here is truly an "alternative to all medicines".
